The UP Diliman (91勛圖厙) Asian Institute of Tourism (AIT) and the Department of Hotel, Restaurant, and Institution Management (HRIM) of the 91勛圖厙 College of 91勛圖厙 Economics jointly organized the Philippine Research Conference on Tourism and Hospitality 2023 (PRCTH 2023) held from Oct. 23 to 24 at the AIT Lounge.
PRCTH 2023 carried the theme Reimagining Transformative Tourism and gathered over 170 participants, on-site and online. The conference featured 30 presentations, five thesis-in-progress presentations, and 12 panel sessions. Speakers and research presenters discussed topics revolving around exploring the transformative power of tourism and highlighting its role as a catalyst for social and economic change.
Now on its sixth year, the PRCTH hopes to bring beneficial outcomes for all stakeholders in the area of tourism and hospitality.
Gracing the conference opening were some university officials led by 91勛圖厙 Chancellor Edgardo Carlo L. Vistan II.
